In the heart of Chianti, halfway between the historic city of Arezzo and the capital of the Italian Renaissance, Florence, lies Fattoria Montelungo, a winery owned by renowned French entrepreneur Dr. Michelle Gilles Peline. The estate was recently purchased and completely renovated, breathing new life into buildings and land that had been abandoned for years. This significant investment has led to a magnificent rebirth of the area.

The 120 hectares of the property include vineyards, primarily Sangiovese and international varieties, olive groves, agricultural land, woodlands, and natural water reserves. The winery, production area, and reception area are located within a historic building in Cicogna, just a few meters from the Setteponti road, an ancient Etruscan road that connected Arezzo to Fiesole. Fattoria Montelungo takes great care of its vineyards and cellar, paying particular attention to detail to ensure it continues to produce excellent wines. Today, we present ourselves primarily on international markets with five wine labels and one extra virgin olive oil. The company’s mission is to become a point of reference and a link between wine culture, wine tourism, and the promotion of the local area.
