Located in the charming town of Cormòns, in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Drius Winery embodies the essence of tradition and family heritage. For generations, the Drius family has cultivated a deep passion for winemaking, crafting wines that tell the story of their land.
Today, Mauro Drius continues this tradition with the support of his wife Nadia and their son Denis, along with daughters Erika and Valentina. Together, they bring innovation and dedication to every bottle produced across their 17 hectares of vineyards, which cover the prestigious DOC Collio and DOC Isonzo zones.
In Collio, the gently rolling hills of sandstone and marl create the perfect terroir for intensely aromatic, dry white wines of exceptional quality. Meanwhile, the limestone-rich and alluvial soils of the Isonzo DOC yield elegantly crisp whites and full-bodied, richly flavored reds that captivate the palate.
The vineyards are certificated with the SQNPI (National Quality System for Integrated Production). This certification ensures that the vineyards follow sustainable farming practices, combining traditional methods with environmentally friendly techniques.
